Optisource Acquires Peeper Keepers

(PRESS RELEASE) BELLPORT, NY – OptiSource International has acquired Peeper Keepers, the made-in-the-USA eyewear retainers company.

Since 1979, the Peeper Keepers brand has been known for its “Stay Put” rubber grip ends, comfortable materials, and outdoor sports heritage. Over the past two years OptiSource was the exclusive optical-industry distributor for the Portland, OR-based company. The popular eyewear retainers are available in a wide range of styles, materials, and grip end designs.

“The Peeper Keepers brand has a decades-old reputation for quality, innovation, and reliability,” said Daryl Squicciarini, president of OptiSource International. “The fit between Peeper Keepers values and OptiSources’ made the acquisition opportunity an easy decision.

Born in 1979, the popular outdoors brand has constantly evolved to become an ECP favorite for their soft, supple strings, luxurious leather cords, and authentic Czech-glass bead designs, all available with their famous “Stay Put” rubber ends that ensure a lifetime of reliable grip.

“OptiSource has been a strategic partner that really embraces the product line, brand, and customer needs,” said Phil Riley, president of Peeper Keepers. “While Peeper Keepers has been a staple item in other retail industries, optical is where Peeper Keepers has focused to provide ECP’s with products that provide maximum value for both owners and patients.”
