(PRESS RELEASE) DALLAS, TX – AEG Vision, an owner and operator of leading Optometry Practices, announced that it has acquired Silverbell Eyecare Center (www.silverbelleyecare.com) in Tucson, Arizona. Founded in 1990 by Dr. Richard Baim, Silverbell Eyecare Center is AEG Vision’s 14th practice in Arizona.

“We welcome Dr. Richard Baim and his exceptional staff into the AEG Vision family,” said Eric Anderson, CEO of AEG Vision. “Over the course of 30 years serving the community of Tucson, Silverbell Eyecare Center has built a legacy that aligns with AEG Vision’s core mission: to help our neighbors take care of their vision, one patient at a time.”

Silverbell Eyecare Center offers a full range of optometric services including examinations for eyeglasses and contact lenses. As a full scope optometric office, it also provides examinations and treatment options for many medical eye conditions such as dry eyes, glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, pre-op evaluations, foreign body removal, and other infections and inflammations of the eyes.

“I wanted a partner that would respect the history of Silverbell Eyecare,” said Dr. Richard Baim. “AEG Vision made it clear, during the entire transition, that it would do so. I am confident that the best days for Silverbell Eyecare remain ahead.”

“Arizona is a region that is key to AEG Vision’s expansion strategy,” said Joe Terzo, chief development officer. “We have built a thriving network in Arizona by investing in its people and resources. We look forward to partnering with more individuals like Dr. Baim who put patients first.”

AEG Vision operates under multiple brands in Arizona including 20/20 Image Eye Centers, Carlsson Family Eye Center, Alvernon Optical, and Affinity Eye Care.
