An eyecare practice in New York state is offering free LASIK surgery to an NFL referee following a controversial call in a recent matchup between the Buffalo Bills and the Indianapolis Colts, WIVB-TV reports.

Fichte, Endl & Elmer Eyecare, which has locations in Niagara Falls and Amherst, announced on Facebook: “We are offering FREE LASIK to this NFL ref Alberto Riveron. Clearly he is not seeing so well.”

So far, the post has attracted 2,400 reactions, and it’s been shared over 4,600 times.

Jordan Cohn of Radio.com explains the ref’s apparently bad call here. Colts wide receiver Zach Pascal “clearly looked to have fumbled the football” but the refs ruled him down by contact, sparking a social media uproar, Cohn writes.

The Bills still won 27-24 in the AFC Wild Card playoff game. It was their “first playoff victory in a quarter-century,” the Associated Press notes.
