(PRESS RELEASE) Sun Pharma has launched an unbranded video campaign called Dry Eye Gets Personal.

The series featuring fourvideos, each with an optometrist or ophthalmologist (a few who also have dry eye disease themselves) talking about a dry eye patient experience that affected them personally, and what they want other eye doctors to know. The eye doctors featured are:

  • Darrell White, MD, founder of Skyvision Centers
  • Carly Rose, OD, owner, Eyecare on the Square
  • Rolando Toyos, MD, medical director and founder, and Melissa Toyos, MD, partner and research director, Toyos Clinic
  • Doug Devries, OD, co-founder, Eye Care Associates

In this video, White talks about a recent patient who had seen numerous eye doctors before reaching his center. Her dry eye symptoms had persisted, to the point where she couldn’t work to support her family. As a dry eye patient himself, White could relate to her situation personally and took the time to listen carefully and address her issues.
