(PRESS RELEASE) EUGENE, OR — Valley Contax, Inc., in partnership with Contamac US, announces the travel grant winner to attend Optometry’s Meeting in Washington, DC. The award went to Rachael Lockhart, from the Class of 2024 at Northeastern State University, Oklahoma College of Optometry. She said, “Giving sight to people isn’t just about fixing a problem but about allowing them to have all of their precious moments.”
“Travel grants allow us to give students the opportunity to participate in a meeting they may not have been able to otherwise,” says Dr. Adeline Bauer, professional relations director. “The experiences at national meetings, like Optometry’s meeting, create a lasting impression on our soon-to-be doctors.
