Two adults and a child stole about $800 of frames from Richmond Eye Experts in Richmond, TX.

The man, woman and boy presented themselves as a family shopping for eyewear, ABC 13 reports.

Store video shows the woman talking with staff.

“She came up and started making conversation and got our eyes away from the kid who was standing behind her,” said co-owner Dr. Jordana Cittiparampil.

The child then is seen placing eyewear into the man’s pocket.

Police continue to investigate the crime.
