Beyoncé sure hasn’t lost a step. Not in her singing. Not in her stage presence. And, definitely, not in her style.
Queen Bey kicked off her Renaissance World Tour on March 10 at Friends Arena in Stockholm, Sweden. By all accounts it was a dazzling spectacle.
The Guardian: “Titled after (Beyoncé’s) disco glitter bomb post-pandemic party album of the same name, Renaissance is a monster blockbuster concert experience on a different plane.”
Billboard: “The superstar surprised fans with robotic dancing arms a musical nod to Britney Spears, and much more.”
The New York Times: “(Beyoncé) appeared flanked by dancers and backed by a live band, performing for three hours before a giant screen that displayed a constantly morphing tableau that was part retrofuturism and part disco fantasia.”
Of course, we couldn’t help but notice the eyewear on display.

SATORI sunglasses from the MYKITA and Bernhard Willhelm collection were featured during the performance.
The innovative design was a perfect match for the futuristic stage show.
MYKITA certainly noticed as well. Like a proud parent watching their offspring grow up before their eyes, the folks at the independent eyewear brand sent us their take on the show: “Brimming with sci-fi disco decadence, the lavish three-hour show was the ultimate setting for the robotic chic of this hybrid visor designed to shine.”
