  • With everyone wearing masks, it is amusing to watch people try on new glasses while they still have their old glasses still on their face. These masks have us all out of sorts. — Ann-Marie Weaver, Optimal Eye Care, Lewis Center, OH
  • This is a new discovery we’ve made in the time of COVID and curbside dispenses — not exactly optically-related — but it’s astonishing to me how many people have no idea what kind of car they drive. — Christine Howard, Attleboro Vision Care, Attleboro, MA
  • While checking in a patient I asked her to wash her hands. She asked why. I politely told her it was part of procedure and to please put on her mask. She said what was my doctor afraid of? A little dirt? She continued to escalate and I asked if she would feel more comfortable rescheduling? She thought for a moment and then said, yes! grabbed her purse and then yelled from the front door “I will go somewhere I do not have to wash my hands and wear a mask.” I looked at our receptionist and politely said, “Dismiss patient.” — Sherry Morgan, Logan Eye Care, Lake Mary, FL
