You know when you’re talking to a third generation ECP that the love of eyecare runs deep. That is certainly the case with Dr. Brian Woolf who counts continuing the tradition of this family-owned business in the Baltimore-Annapolis area as one of his favorite things. The other? Freedom! As in the “ability to make decisions that help patients without having to go through a committee and the ability to set my own schedule.” Unsurprisingly, insurance dictates for patient care and economic uncertainty rank as some of his least favorites. The final nail in the coffin? “Having to deal with all the medical billing complexity just to get paid for work I already did!” But he’s got a remedy for those days that weigh heavy … literally! “When stressed out, I like to bake. But it can be dangerous to my waistline!”
